Lineage 2 is almost 2 years old now and players are currently working their way through Chronicle 4: Scions of Destiny, the game's latest free content addition. NCsoft recently aannounced the formation of a new development house - called Carbine Studios. The development team consists of a number of names from a selection of downright impressive titles, including World of Warcraft, Fallout and Starcraft. Some of these include Kevin Beardslee - formerly lead developer of WoW, Tim Cain - once the lead programmer and designer for Fallout, and Jeremy Gaffney - Executive Producer of City of Heroes.

A socketed item is like any other item in World of Warcraft, except that it can be upgraded by attaching magical gemstones into the item itself. This imbues the item with additional powers similar to an enchantment. The number of sockets and the types of gems used within the item allow for a wide variety of customizations based upon how you wish to improve your character.
Hit the space bar (jump) to climb vertically in the air, much like a Harrier jet. Once in the air, you can control your flying mount exactly the same way as a land mount, with the additional element of going up and down. While flying or swimming the 'X' key will make you move down.
The normal flying mounts increase your speed in land and air by 60%. This is slower than the ground speed of an epic land mount, which increases speed by 100%. While the normal flying mount may seem a worse option than the epic land mount, keep in mind that you can simply fly over most enemies, as well as over impassable or rough terrain such as in Blade's Edge Mountains. This can save considerable travel time over an epic land mount.

If you get a positive reputation from combat you also get the corresponding opposite reputation reduction.
I have leveled 6 characters to 70, each with their own epic flyer, and lots of gold left over. The truth is, gold doesn't HAVE to take a long time to get, especially in the higher lvl's. Throughout my WoW "career" there are a few things I do that generate lots of gold, in the least amount of time possible. Note: these tips aren't out there to replace the WoW guides, only to expand on them.
